29.7 on 7DPO

Apparently 11-20 after ovulation is “normal.”

Of COURSE I am interpreting this to mean that a fertilized egg implanted,* duh. Progesterone rises with HCG when you’re pregnant, so the only logical answer is that my progesterone is rising as a result of pregnancy. Cue: more phantom symptoms.

*I am aware of no research to support this interpretation.

  1. I’m pretty sure that progesterone rises before HCG is detectable – I read about it when my wife was having ‘symptoms’ only a few days after insemination; it can cause vague but noticeable changes. Sure enough, we had a positive test at 8/9 DPO.
Sounds like a good sign to me!!
